No one looks forward to the stress of city living – bumper to bumper traffic, the smog, the crowds and no time for family and the things you love to do.

But as many purchasers of homes in Scenic Ridge Phase I and II in Paris. Ontario know – you CAN have it all!

Situated minutes from the highway, Paris is a commuter’s dream come true. The “Prettiest Little Town in Canada” is located where the Nith and Grand Rivers meet and combines the best of both worlds – city living and country charm.

Surrounded by quaint shops and historic buildings, Paris is home to award winning restaurants and open-air cafes overlooking the majestic Grand River.

Paris may be referred to as small and quaint but their master plan for the future is large! A re-vamped transportation plan is currently in the works to accommodate the growing population in Paris.  The Scenic Ridge community sits next to the Brant Sports Complex – a popular year-round ice-skating facility and banquet hall. Additionally, plans are underway for new medical and dental offices, grocery stores and a variety of restaurants making Scenic Ridge a full-service community, perfect for growing families.

Hiking, biking or water-sports – Paris has it all! Picturesque trails abound through the Grand River Valley linking Paris to neighboring communities.  If you’re a water lover, you’ll definitely be in your element with the Grand River in your backyard! From canoeing to river-rafting, the Grand is also a favorite fly-fishing destination and home to over 80 species of fish.

Whether you’re a history buff or lover of architecture, Paris, known as the “Cobblestone Capital of Canada” is home to a dozen cobblestone buildings some built with cobblestone drawn right from the Nith & Grand River. Photography enthusiasts will love the historical buildings dating from the mid-1800’s including The Norman Hamilton home, the Arlington Hotel, Paris Baptist Church and the Paris Wincey Mills.

Along with the great trails for hiking and biking, Paris boasts numerous festivals and events for the entire family along with several baseball and soccer fields. The Paris Agricultural Society hosts the annual Paris Fair, a five-day event held over the Labour Day weekend. And, if there’s hockey players in your family, you’ll love the close proximity of the Wayne Gretzky sports Centre in nearby Brantford. This state-of-the-art centre offers a four-pad arena, swimming and fitness classes and special event rentals.

AT LIV Communities we pride ourselves on building in upscale and family-friendly communities and Paris is no exception. There are still a limited number of lots in Scenic Ridge Phase II available with future plans for another master-planned community “Scenic Ridge East”, just east of Powerline Road and Potruff Road.
