About the Neighbourhood
Gravenhurst is the gateway to the Muskokas, a charming town at the southern end of Ontario’s cottage country. It’s located off Highway 11, the main artery between the GTA and lush natural landscapes that attract thousands of visitors and seasonal residents every year.
Gravenhurst offers a number of natural attractions year-round. In the winter months, explore the regional terrain and trails on snowmobiles, cross country skis, or snowshoes. In the summer, hike those same trails, or boat, fish, swim, or paddle through the iconic rocky waterways of the Muskokas. Events such as Winter Carnival, Boat Show, and Dockside Festival of the Arts offer options for outings year-round.
The region also hosts world-class escapes. Taboo and Muskoka Bay resorts are home to two of the country’s top golf courses, as well as spas and restaurants. In the historic downtown, explore the antique shops, breweries, artisan studios, restaurants, and Farmer’s Market.
